Chapter X commands and hand signals

Article XVI         Field referee commands and hand signals

(i)      Referee stands by

(ii)    Salute (抱拳禮)

Stand at straighten, put left hand as palm to hug right hand as fist, to raise in front of one chest about 20 ~ 30 centimeters away. (fig.4, fig.5)

(iii)  Get on Leitai

Stand at the center of field contest, raise arms and points to contestants at both sides (fig.6). To bend arms at 90 degrees and let palms face to face (fig.7). Then down arms as 45 degrees upon saying command (fig.8)

(iv)  Both contestants salute each other

To bend arms in front of one torso and cover right fist as left hand to hint contestants to salute each other. (fig.9)

(v)    Round one

To face chief referee seat, erect index finger and raise arm. Stand as bow stance. (fig.10)

To stand between both contestants as bow stance, upon commanding “Yu-Bei”, straight right arm and palm covers two contestant hands (fig.13). Put another hand aside of abdomen upon commanding “Kai-Shi”. (fig.14) After Jiao Jin step (3 seconds), judge rewarding points immediately and command “Ji-Xu” without stopping contest (fig.15)

To straight one arm and point out the foul contestant with palm up. Then put another hand in front of one’s crotch part (fig.30).

Chapter XI Implementation and Amendment

Article XVIII   This Competition Rules passed by the General Assembly of the Council, and implement after sending to the ROC Executive Yuan, Republic of China Sports Federation and the Sports Commission to audit and backup. The same procedure will be taken in revisions.
